Please meet Dr. Diocletian Lewis (1823 ~ 1886)

The inventor of the bean-bag, a Homeopath practitioner and a strong advocate of Homeopathy. He studied at the Harvard medical school and then he attended the Homeopathic Hospital College of Cleveland in Ohio. In 1848, he opened a practice in Buffalo, New York, and began a monthly publication called the Homeopathist.
